Hello La Farge and KVFS Families,
Our after school program is on this year!
The program's lead teacher is Jenny Grainger, who teaches 3K and 4K and library classes at La Farge Elementary. The assistant teacher is Jessica Slaney, also experienced in working with children.
Each day students participate in enrichment activities, spend time outside, and enjoy a healthy snack. Activities include community service projects, walking field trips, arts and crafts, STEM, special guest visitors, and more, depending on the interests of the children.
The program will be run Mondays - Thursdays when school is in session until 5:00. All participating children will need to be picked up by 5:00.
Because we need to plan carefully for staffing, schedules, and spaces, After School Club is not a drop - in program. Families will need to identify the days that their children will be participating.
There will be a small fee for the program to offset the costs of snacks, activity materials, and staffing.
Daily Rate is $5, with discounts for full time participation or multiple children from the same family.
Monthly rates for full-time participation, if paid in full:
1 child = $55/month
2 children = $95/month
3 or more children = $125/month
*Payment can be made monthly or weekly, no later than the Friday preceding the week of attendance. If you believe your family would benefit from financial assistance, please contact Ms. Grainger or Ms. Gustafson
