The Civics class attended Youth Government Day in Viroqua on Wednesday, November 5. The program is sponsored by the American Legion, and gives students the opportunity to experience the court system and meet some of our law enforcement officers.

Congratulations to our high school volleyball players, Chelsey Huebsch and Riley Grefe, for earning all conference recognitions!

Congratulations to our K/LF football seniors who made the WFCA All-State Academic Team for having a cumulative GPA of 3.33 or greater.
Congratulations also goes out to Brian Potter who made the WFCA Individual Academic All-State Award for having a GPA greater than 3.75!

Mark your calendars for our November early childhood playgroups!

This weekend, come see the La Farge High School Drama Club's performance of "Writing a Will Can Be Murder" by Eddie McPherson, a fun murder mystery featuring twins, flashbacks, and an assistant library cop who is roped into solving the murder. Performances are Friday at 7pm, and Saturday at 2pm and 7pm. There is no cost, but we will be taking a free-will donations, with money going towards a new sound system in the gym.

WCCU Credit Union made an incredible donation of approximately 200 snack packs to be donated to our Wildcat Packs program! They assembled over 6,000 snack packs that were donated to 33 school districts. Thank you WCCU Credit Union for your very generous donation!

Cross country at Prairie du Chien for Sectionals!!

Music Students in Grades 6-12 will be presenting a Fall Concert on Monday, October 27 at 7:00 pm in the La Farge School Gym. 🍁🍂
Students are asked to wear their purple music shirts and black pants. (6th grade students will receive their shirt that evening). 🥁🎷🎺🎹
All students are asked to meet in the band room at 6:30 pm for warm-ups.

It will be here before we know it! The Snowflake Store is now accepting donations! We're excited to open our Snowflake Store up to KVFS student shoppers this year as well, bringing our numbers up and giving more students this great opportunity. Donation boxes will be located between the front entrance doors for collections. Thank you for your continued support and helping bring cheer to our families here at La Farge Schools.

Today is the NHS Community Blood Drive at the Community Center. Walk-ins are welcome. Each donor will receive a $10 e-gift card to Amazon by email.

Out 8th grade student council members had an opportunity to attend a leadership conference in Bangor with other area 8th graders. They participated in a variety of team building exercises, heard inspiration stories of leadership and networked with other schools. They are looking forward to getting together again in the spring!



First round of playoffs for volleyball at Wonewoc!!!

The National Honor Society's next community blood drive is this Friday, October 24th at the Community Center. There are still donation times available and walk-ins are welcome. Come support the 2026 Seniors. Every pint collected goes to a scholarship for the seniors. Go to redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
