It's the start of homecoming week and what really gets that school spirit going more than pep band!!! Here's a little throwback picture along with a current picture of our band in this weekend's Horse & Colt Show Parade!


A wonderful showing at the Driftless Area Art Festival! Congratulations to Kinley Morris (3rd), Chelsey Huebsch(3rd) and Jocey Allen(1st) for earning ribbons and cash prizes! Along with the other students who were honored with having their artwork shown.
Also a big thank you to the horse and Colt Show for displaying our artwork this weekend and making a donation to our art program!

It's Sunday and you need something to do? Be sure to check out the Driftless Area Art Festival! Our very own librarian Jen Rehberg is set up there along with artwork from 15 of our students! Three of which placed in the top 3 of their age groups!


Here are nextnext week's homecoming dress up days!! For NEON day the class colors are as listed below: Seniors - Pink Junior - Orange Sophomore - Green Freshman - Yellow, Middle School - Blue.
Elementary students are invited to dress-up on Friday and attend the pep rally!

Mrs. Palmer's Baking and Pastry class is getting to experiment with different types of flour by making some chocolate chip cookies. Students compared the different types of flour by protein and gluten content as well as by look, taste and texture.



8th-12th grade Music Families--our marching performance for the Horse and Colt Show Parade is this Saturday, September 20! We will be leaving the school at noon, please arrive around 11:30 am. Students will be wearing uniforms and hats. If your child does not have black marching shoes I will pick some up, please let me know a size. We will return to school as soon as we are finished marching. If your child is staying in Viola after the parade please let me know by Friday. 🎼🥁🎺🎷

It may look like 4K and Kindergarten are just playing but they are actually working on their social skills. Miss Grainger heard students say things like, “When you’re done, can I have a turn?” and “Let’s build this together!”

Awesome performance last night for the KLF cross country team at the Goat Hill Classic hosted by North Crawford.
Out of 8 high school teams our varsity girls placed 2nd and our boys were champions. The middle school girls team placed 2nd out of 10 teams and the boys team, once again, fought hard for another 1st place team finish.
Individual Medals were earned by: Jeff Olsen, Theo Parr, Arlon Walter, Breken Miller, Spud Turgasen, Kolbie Andolsek, Katie Randow, Kendal Andolsek, Talan Johnson, Brady Walker, Grant Friederick, Peyton Zitzner, Charles Perkins, Devin Hill, Ella Goodwin-Schlifer, and Willa Schmidt.

Students in our Manufacturing class finished making 100 name tags for an Organic Valley event in New York City!




High school art students are using fruit as inspiration, so what better way than bringing the fruit to the classroom! Many students were able to try new fruits for the first time including dragonfruit and papaya.



Our 3-yo and 0-4 early childhood playgroups are starting back up! Drop in this Friday morning (September 19) for our open house, and make sure you're registered for our regular playgroups starting Friday, September 26.
