Second grade has been studying landforms in social studies and science. Each student was assigned a landform to make out of salt dough. We waited for them to dry and then painted them. It was a very interesting and enjoyable project for everyone.

Mr. Chroninger's Social Studies classes have been following Mr. Tincher on his South American travels. Mr. Tincher has been sending photos and information about the places he is visiting. Students have been using Google Earth to explore the locations in more detail. Students have also been figuring out how many miles he has traveled. It has been fun to have such a world traveler share his journey.

As part of their Cultures class, 6th graders participated in The Compliments Project. Each student had a chance to sit in the "hot seat" with their back facing the board while their classmates filled the board with nice comments about them.
