La Farge students are as good as gold!

The 4K friends have been very interested in dinosaurs lately so it was a perfect time to go on a dinosaur hunt! We looked through the halls to find dinosaurs with our names on them. We had to work together to say the letters and figure out who's name is on each dinosaur. (We're getting very good at figuring out each other's names!) Along with our dinosaurs were puzzle pieces. We put the numbers on each piece in order 1-10 to make two dinosaurs. It was a lot of fun!

Come enjoy a night of traveling around the world! March 10th is our Elementary Fine Arts Night. The art show will be from 5pm-7pm with the 4K- 2nd grade concert starting at 6:00 and the 3rd-5th grade concert at 7:00. Grab your passport for a night of new adventures!

Mrs. Jacobson's 2nd Graders recently completed a unit on writing personal narratives. Students wrote in detail about important events and memories from their lives. Their titles include "My Dog Lucky," "Full Moon Adventure," "Mushroom Hunting with Grandpa," "Tennessee Trip," and "My Toes." One student, Chance, wrote about something he is very proud of- overcoming a birth defect through multiple surgeries and physical therapy. We are proud of all of our Wildcat authors!

First graders are starting on instrument parts for their upcoming concert. Save the date for the Fine Arts Night on March 10!

4K students practice Teddy Bear Teddy Bear for the upcoming Elementary concert. They will also sing the Japanese version of this song called Kuma Sam. Look for more information coming home soon!
