Congratulations to the varsity volleyball team for their win over Wauzeka, 3-0, tonight.
The elementary students had their first PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) assembly today. Students were recognized for following our school rules and classes were recognized for their behavior in various parts of the school. Congratulations to our "shout out" students for doing a great job of learning and following our school rules! We've had a great start to our school year.

La Farge Schools is proud to continue our partnership with Stonehouse Counseling to provide in-school behavioral health/therapy to students of all ages.
This year we are lucky to have Terra Knoble, a licensed marriage and family therapist here on Mondays, and Ash Lyke, an advanced practice social worker here on Fridays.
If you are interested in your student participating in these services, please contact our school nurse, Emily, at oiume@lafarge.k12.wi.us. Funds are available to support these services for families whose insurance does not provide coverage.

The second graders got to review rhythms that include one and two sounds on a beat. Can your second grader (or 3rd-5th grader!) read these rhythms?
High School Student Council is sponsoring a free will donation tailgate party tomorrow, Wednesday, September 21st from 5:00pm to 7:30pm at the Lion's Shelter. Join us after the tailgate at the bonfire where we will celebrate our fall extracurriculars and announce Homecoming court.

It was a great day in our high school art department! The fair booth is set up and ready to be viewed! Be sure to check out all of our other students exhibits at the county fair as well!
There will be no MS/HS Cross Country practice today. They will still participate at the Boscobel meet tomorrow. The bus leaves LF at 4:30 pm.
There will be no HS football practice for the remainder of the week. The varsity game for Friday night is postponed and will be played this Monday, Sept. 19, starting at 6 pm.
MS football and MS / HS volleyball will be held as normal this week.
One more reminder about Early Release Wednesdays: KVFS dismisses at 2:30 and La Farge Elementary, Middle, and High School dismiss at 2:45 throughout the 2022-2023 school year. Call the District office with any questions.
