It is the last day of the strangest school year we've ever had!
On behalf of everyone at LFSD, I'd like to thank our students, families, and community for their support and flexibility as we've navigated a this year together. It was weird, and it was hard, but we did it!

La Farge Elementary Carnival
Tuesday, June 1st
Through generous donations from our amazing community members, La Farge Elementary students will be having an end of the year carnival. The carnival will include two bouncy houses, a dunk tank, games, prizes, face painting, sno cones, and popcorn.
Students will be taking part in the event throughout the day in different age groups:
4th and 5th Graders - 8:30 - 10 am
2nd and 3rd Graders - 10:15 - 11:45 am
4K, K, and 1st Graders - 12:30 - 2 pm
Yesterday the Library hosted a Breakfast and Book Giveaway, featuring Hansen's Bakery donuts and some books and magazines that had been removed from circulation due to age or damage. Kids and families had a great time browsing and selecting some summer reading material while enjoying a special treat. Thanks to Mrs. Buhr, Mrs. Miller, and Mrs. Wirts for a fun event! #EveryStudentEveryDay

La Farge Schools will be dismissing at 1:15 today due to the Village needing to turn off our power for an extended duration.
Bus routes will run as usual. If your student will have different dismissal plans, please call the office before 1:00.

Here are the English 10 final projects for their “Personal Experience Speeches.” Each student gave a 2-4 minute speech about a personal experience that shaped their life. After the speeches, students put together collages to represent the theme of their personal experience. It was so fun to see a spoken piece become a creative work of physical art!
